1. To the Grave are an Australian Deathcore band from Sydney, formed in 2010.
On the backend of recording an explosive debut full-length album, To the Grave are erupting out of the Sydney local scene this year and taking their infamous live show on the road.
To the Grave deliver a deliciously chaotic brand of metal with tasteful flecks of hardcore and technical influence. Blending the complexities of The Black Dahlia Murder, All Shall Perish and Born of Osiris with their own unique energy and groove, To the Grave are meticulously brutal on record and unstoppable live.
Formed in 2010 in Sydney, Australia, To the Grave have quickly developed a diverse live following and an impressive sound of their own. After the 2011 release of a six-track EP, the band were quick to embark on a string of shows playing to ever-increasing crowds. Over the next couple of years, they would go on to play electrifying and agitative sets in support of a number noteworthy bands.
After a lengthy stint at Sydney’s Def Wolf Studios throughout 2012 recording, mixing and perfecting their debut full-length album, To the Grave set out on their first DIY Australian tour, blasting out shows up and down the country’s East Coast and Mid-West capital cities, trailing a path of destruction through regional NSW, and building a dedicated nationwide fan base that are hungry for more.
