Void Of Vision

Void of Vision is a metalcore band hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in April 2013, the band comprises vocalist Jack Bergin (2013–present), James McKendrick on lead guitar and clean vocals (2013–present), Mitch Fairlie on rhythm guitar (2013–present), and George Murphy on drums (2013–present). Former member Matt Thompson played bass guitar and provided backing vocals from 2013 to 2017.

In May 2013, Void of Vision released their debut self-published two-track Reflect // Revolt on Bandcamp. Influenced by bands such as Parkway Drive, Architects, System of a Down, and Rage Against the Machine, their genre has been described as progressive metalcore and djent.

The band gained attention in 2014 when they unveiled the music video for their first single, "Life//Blood." Later that year, they embarked on three national tours and released their debut EP, Broken // Bones, in October, which earned the distinction of being Blunt Magazine's EP of the Year for 2014. In December, Void of Vision released a music video for the track "Persist // Perceive," featuring Mason Bunt from Pridelands.

Void of Vision signed with the UNFD record label in 2016 and released the singles "//" and "Ctrl Freak" before their debut studio album, Children of Chrome, dropped on September 30. They embarked on their first international tour in February 2017, supporting Chelsea Grin on the Self Inflicted European Tour. Later that year, they released their second EP, Disturbia, and recorded a rendition of Silverchair's "Israel's Son" for the tribute album Spawn (Again).

In 2018, Void of Vision released a limited physical edition of Disturbia on vinyl and unveiled the standalone single and music video for "Kill All My Friends." The band performed at the inaugural Good Things festival that year.

In 2019, Void of Vision released their sophomore studio album, Hyperdaze, accompanied by singles such as "Hole in Me," a cover of Slipknot's "Psychosocial," and tracks like "Babylon" and "If Only." They joined Northlane on the Australian and European legs of the Alien World Tour.

The band continued their musical journey with the release of the music video for "Decay" in July 2020, followed by collaborations with Thornhill's lead singer Jacob Charlton and Ecca Vandal. They also participated in the Everyone Loves You... Once You Leave Them Australian Album Tour with the Amity Affliction. In March 2021, they released the remix album Hyperdaze (Redux).

Void of Vision released the single "The Lonely People" in September 2021, accompanied by a music video. They followed it up with the release of "VAMPYR" in October, along with the announcement of their EP Chronicles I: Lust, which contained four tracks. In 2022, they released the single "Dominatrix" and the EP Chronicles II: Heaven, featuring the track "Altar" with guest vocals from Hannah Greenwood of Creeper.
